It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here on the blog, and I’ve had some of you blog followers wondering why I’m not posting stuff! The reason for the blog being quiet these days is simple – I’m finding that most people are following Facebook these days as opposed to blogs.

So, rather than posting everything on the blog, I’m focusing more on posting to Facebook. I still want to make use of this blog, but I’m undecided as to what exactly to post here.

Weddings in Vancouver!

Vancouver Chinese Wedding Photography

After finishing up dinner at Rogue Wet Bar (In Gastown, Vancouver), Vicky changed into her last of 3 dresses. I brought my trusty flashlight along so we could do some fun lighting inside the bar.

Vancouver Wedding Photography: Bernard & Vicky

Yesterday, I posted some shots from the FIRST DRESS worn on the photo shoot for Vicky & Bernard. How fun is it to have so many different looks all with one bride!!!

Vicky changed her dress in the parkade, in the backseat of my SUV. I love how easy going she was!!

After she was changed, we did a few shots right in the parkade for fun….

…..Then we headed off in the car to some other locations that I thought might be fun.

At this time of year, the cherry blossoms in Vancouver are in full bloom and they look AMAZING!!!

After all of the running around, we were hungry….and needed a beer too So we headed back to Gastown in Vancouver and ordered up some food at ROGUE WETBAR. Of course, why not take some great shots while waiting for our food to come!

Vicky & Bernard: Vancouver Wedding Photographer

I feel honored to have the opportunity to work with a lot of really cool people from all over the world. Last week, a couple flew into Vancouver from Hong Kong to get some wedding photos done, and I had the pleasure of working with them!

In Asia, the tradition is to get pictures done WAY before the wedding, so that they have the ability to print albums, posters, and other things for viewing at the wedding itself. Vicky & Bernard are not really getting married until November, but this was their chance to get some really fun wedding pictures done in a very cool location.

Vicky came to Canada with 3 dresses. So, we loaded the suitcase into my car and headed downtown to have some fun shooting.

First up is DRESS #1:

As we headed towards downtown, I had an idea of an area where there were cherry blossoms lining both sides of the streets….and being that they were in full bloom, I thought that it’d be fun to make a quick stop for a few shots….
